Thin Lei Win is a freelance Burmese journalist in Europe. She spent nearly 13 years as a correspondent for the Thomson Reuters Foundation, covering humanitarian issues in Southeast Asia, including Myanmar, and most recently on hunger and climate issues globally. She set up Myanmar Now news agency in 2015 and is also the co-founder of The Kite Tales, a non-profit storytelling project focusing on Myanmar.
