Welcome to N3Magazine, the official magazine of N3Conference, a yearly gathering of the Asia chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association. (For the uninitiated, N3 stands for New.Now.Next.)
As N3Conference enters its 10th year, N3Magazine publishes its fifth edition — and its first in a digital-only format.
Under the Story Topics tab, you will find stories, podcasts, and video interviews related to coverage of topics including:
- The Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on newsrooms in Asia
- Hong Kong protests and civil unrest
- New developments in technology and the impacts on media
- The state of media freedom in countries across Asia
- A look back at 10 years of N3Conference, with reflections from AAJA members
- Podcast and video interviews with Ramy Inocencio, Asia correspondent for CBS and a founder of N3Conference; Ching-Ching Ni, editor of the New York Times Chinese language website; veteran Singaporean journalist PN Balji; and others
N3Magazine is an annual media review, for journalists by journalists, a forum for self-expression and an examination of journalistic triumphs, challenges, and opportunities across Asia and around the world.
